Our founder, Frank Zimmermann, brings over 25 years of deep industry experience, having held board and executive roles at leading enterprises and build businesses.

Frank is recognized for his hands-on leadership in company building, rapid scaling, transaction execution, post-merger integration (PMI), and driving sustainable value.

A core highlight of Frank’s career includes orchestrating the transformation of a pioneering PEM electrolysis company in the global hydrogen market. Under his stewardship as a board member, the organization evolved from a small enterprise with just five employees to a workforce of 600, positioning itself as a key player in the industry.

Frank led the successful sale of this company to Everllance (formerly MAN Energy Solutions, part of the Volkswagen AG), securing €550€ million in funding and ensuring a seamless integration with the acquirer.

He directly oversaw critical functions including Finance, IT, People & Culture, and Legal, ensuring robust governance and continuous organizational development.

Frank’s transaction expertise spans numerous high-value M&A and private equity-backed deals across Germany, China, Korea, the USA, and the Netherlands. He has a proven track record of structuring, negotiating, and closing complex investment transactions.

His experience extends to managing subsidiary and venture capital portfolios, leading advisory boards, and executing strategic reviews resulting in exponential revenue growth for key holdings. Frank has successfully led strategic projects with renowned partners, such as McKinsey & Company.

His leadership was also instrumental in managing large-scale Post Merger Integration programs, establishing solid portfolio management foundations, and implementing comprehensive reporting guidelines for high-growth enterprises.
